It’s me! I know that my blog has been neglected for quite sometime :(
First of all, happy new year and also happy chinese new year :P
I’m gona to blog about my 21st birthday celebrations! :)
After much thinking, I was sure that I don’t like to entertain and handle different groups of guests at once.
So I decided just to celebrate with family and friends separately.
Although my celebration wasn’t a huge party, but I still enjoyed it very much!
I think it’s just going to be a short post because I feel that I somehow lost the feel to blog in detail :/

Started off with the fist celebration with my group of poly cuties on 5th Jan at Alps Cafe.
They chose the place so I didn’t have to think of where and what to do :D

When u all asked cheryle bring me to the toilet, I already know that you all are going to get the cake :P
Then I further confirmed it and even saw the cake box because...
The lady that spoke loudly shouted “serve the cake serve the cake!”
while cheryle was inside the toilet and I was standing outside HAHA!
Saw the lady take the cake in the box out when I was standing outside the toilet.
But what surprised me was the way you all gave me my present!
Really surprised when u all pass me my present!

Third round of celebration with my seconday school buddies!
This time round I had to choose the place to go.
Had a hard time deciding where to go and in the end decided to go 2D1N Soju Bang.
Wanted to give it a try since I never went there before.
We went for the a la carte not the meat buffet.
Both Lifang and I brought polaroid :D

Fourth round of celebration with my bestie since primary school!
On the 9th of Jan night, MIC asked me where I went for celebration.
Found out that she actually wanted to bring me to 2D1N Soju Bang!
Of so many restaurants we happen to think of the same one!!!
She had no choice but to change the place :/
In the end, she brought me to an atas bar at boat quay.
The first floor is a bar and the second floor is a place for fine dining.

After dinner we initially planed to go home already, but on the way...
MIC saw the place that she wanted to bring me to.
So we decided to go up have a look!
Located near raffles place mrt, it’s called 1 Altitude!
The view up there is super nice!!!
Had to pay $25 for the alcohol and it was stated that females must be 21 and above while males have to be 25 and above.
The person asked if we were 21, we said we are 21 this year and he allowed us up! :D
So in the end we went back late and was still in the train when the clock strike 12!
Spent the first few minute of my actual birthday on the MRT.

Fifth round of celebration was a surprise!
Uni friends are so nice to have prepared a surprise for me!
Before the class the bought a cake and brought it into the classroom!
The whole class sang a birthday song, thanks to all my classmates :)
Of so many people in the class, I don’t know why angelina decided to choice dr ray to help us take photo.
Haha, anyway it nice :D
Then at night, went to melt-the world cafe at mandarin oriental hotel with my aunt for buffet dinner!

Celebrated Hui Qing’s 21st on this day.
Initially we wanted to plan a picnic at Marina Barrage, but in the end due to time constrain we eventually decided to bake cupcakes only.
Met Grace, Catherine and Vanessa in the morning at hougang and went to get the ingredients.
Bought our lunch over to Vanessa’s house and we started baking.
Sieve the flour!
Cream the butter!
Having fun beating the egg and mixing it with the flour. 
Writing the alphabets on the cupcake!
Cup cake looks yummy right!!!
We were super late after baking the cup cake!
So sorry that we had to make Hui Qing wait for us super long :(
Met Hui Qing at City Hall and had dinner at Sushi Tei.
After dinner we walked to esplanade and sat there for a mini picnic haha!
Initially we wanted to go Marina Barrage but the plan wasn’t workable since we were late :/
So we ended up at esplanade.

After that we sat down, had a mini picnic..
Chit chat and I enjoyed looking at the lights at MBS haha!

I just realised, my posts are always late and I have to put the date above so as not to cause confusion with the date posted :(
How sad! I’m getting lazier and lazier to blog...
But... I don’t have the intention to close down my blog yet! :D
Anyway, on the 28th of Oct...
My aunt was given free tickets to the USS Halloween but she didn’t want to go, so she gave it to us!
Before entering USS.
Entered USS and the front part was still ok.
Started to get scary when we walked further in.
It was misty and the accident part was where the people start scaring us!
There was one part where by me together with MIC and Rui Ting got surrounded by 3 people there.
We screamed like hell and was trapped by those 3 who where trying to scare us.
We entered one so called ghost house, and we kept getting scared and chased after.
I shouted like mad! Seriously have never shouted until my voice went hoarse before!
Even felt that my leg was pulled!
After we got out from the so called ghost house, there was reporter there!
Nickie and Rui Ting got interviewed and appeared in the news!
Other than the scary part, 4 rides were opened and we took 2!
The rides part was fun!
Took something like teacup and an indoor roller coaster.
That mummy roller coaster was fun!
Shout and shout throughout the ride but I enjoyed it!
Outdoor roller coaster’s waiting time was way too long!
30mins and 45mins each, so we didn’t took it.

After that we went for supper and then home!

Woke up after the alarm rang at I forgot what time. haha!
Then we prepared to go down to the hotel’s cafe for breakfast.
Who knows just as we were to get out of our room to the cafe, the whole hotel suddenly blackout!
MIC and I took the stairs down.
Basically everyone’s using the stairs!
Went to the cafe and it was in total darkness.
The staff placed small lamps here and there.
We went to take food for breakfast and I just anyhow took some because I was not able to clearly see what the food was!
After breakfast, the hotel was back to normal so we took the lift up.
Packed out stuffs and drank the drinks we bought yesterday.
After that we went down to the lobby and the tour guide came to fetch us.
Then we went to another hotel to fetch the others before we headed to the ferry terminal.
Since we had sometime before our ferry departs, we went to the mall opposite the ferry terminal.
Again we had nothing to shop and we ended up here!
Sing sang sung for 1 hour though the system wasn’t that great but the price was considered cheap!

After that we went to buy donuts from J.Co and then went to Starbucks!
Then we went to A&W for lunch.
Bought the curly fries!!
Then, time to board the ferry!
This time round the ferry has outdoor and indoor seats! We sat the one outside!

But I didn’t edit or do anything to it!

Around evening, we reached Singapore!
Good bye Batam, I had a good mini trip with MIC!
OK! I’m finally here to blog on my batam trip!
Shall blog it day by day, so here’s day 1.

Early in the morning, I woke up at 5am plus!
Arranged to meet MIC at 6am because our ferry leaves at 8.20 and we are suppose to be there 90mins before departure.
We are supposed to reach there at 6.50am!
Super early! But in the end, we reached at around 7.15am? HAHA
Queued to get our tickets.
While queuing, MIC suddenly commented "why is there only guys queuing? No female going?!”
After awhile a few females came to queue, but still more males than females.
Paid for fuel, tax etc and got our tickets.
Chiong-ed to buy breakfast because we were told that we can start entering.
Bought our breakfast and stuffed the food it our mouth.
I was unable to so ended up stuffing the food in my bag!
Was afraid that they will not allow me to bring food in but I managed to haha!
Boarding started at 8.15am? (I forgot exact time :X)

Finally.. We reached!
Found our tour guide and he told us to board the number 95 bus.
After we board the bus, we couldn’t stop laughing to ourselves!
There were no one around our age group in the bus!
All there was were old couples, probably there to relax.
Luckily four ladies boarded the bus before the tour started.
Although they were not of our age group too, but they were quite nice during lunch.
We were brought to a temple at first, after that to a house that people over there produced layered cake.
After that it was lunch time!
7 course seafood lunch at Golden Prawn 933
MIC and I together with the four ladies sat together for lunch.
The way the comment on the food and stuffs where very funny!
Especially one of the dish called gong gong :D Had an enjoyable lunch!
After lunch we were brought to a place to see a mini performance.
Then to the go-kart whereby only me and MIC went to play while the whole bus of people waited for us.
And after the go-kart, went to a place to to take photos.
Then to some shop that sells clothes and shoes and finally, to the shopping mall.
Entered the mall but there was nothing much to our interest.
So we went to the supermarket!
Bought things like instant noodles, snacks and drinks.
Then we were tired and wanted to take a seat for awhile.
Went to KFC since the tour guide recommended that KFC is nice and that there were people who came to batam for KFC.
So happen that the tour guide saw us and he helped us ordered the food.
Our KFC meal.
We shared but didn’t eat the rice.
(The thingy packed in red/white paper is rice)
As the all the other people in the tour wanted to go for massage,
only MIC and I were left to continue shopping in that mall.
Nothing to do, we went to buy slippers!
Now we have the same slippers! Haha.
Then again, nothing to do…
In the end, we went to the arcade and play!
Played and played until it was the time for us to gather at the front door.
Went to the front door, but there was only the tour guide there.
The other people in the tour group all extended their massage timing.
And one thing! All of them stayed in a same hotel except us!
Sobbs! So poor thing! Only us.
Since there were not ready yet and we stayed in a different hotel,
we were brought to the hotel first.
Our room..
Checked in the hotel.
We were too tired, and so we took a nap before heading out.
It was super cold to nap at that time because I didn’t want to tuck in to the blankets without bathing!
I was really dirty after the go-kart ride as some water splashed onto me :(
Accidentally drove into a pool of water :(
After the short nap, we walked to the shopping mall behind our hotel room.
Nagoya Hill Shopping Mall.
Walked around and found the food street in the mall.
Went to have A&W! It was what we aimed for dinner haha!
After dinner, again nothing much to shop.
Walked around the mall for awhile and ended up playing the arcade again!
As I didn’t bring the arcade card out, we had to walk back to the hotel to get it.
The journey between the hotel and the mall was kinda scary!
There is a pedestrian zebra crossing it doesn’t seem like there is one over there!
Cars just zoom pass and kinda ignored the zebra crossing!
Also, there were people sitting my the road side begging for money.
We were so scared that we walked super fast!
Played a few rounds at the arcade and went back to the hotel earlier than expected due to the scary walking journey.
Back in the hotel, we opened the sparking juice we bought!
Had fun opening the bottle! HAHA!
It goes “poppp!” super loud! And once it popped, we shouted!
After shouting, we started laughing!
Initially, we wanted to cook instant cup noodles for supper.
But the kettle has corroded!
So we went down to the receptionist and asked for a change of kettle.
Went back to our room, waited and waited but no one came to change.
Then we called the house keeping to ask for a change.
Waited and waited, finally it came.
However, by the time the kettle has been changed..
We were already too tired!
Hair was already dried and we couldn’t take it any more!
Went to sleep!!
That’s the end of day 1! :)
