21st Birthday!

It’s me! I know that my blog has been neglected for quite sometime :(
First of all, happy new year and also happy chinese new year :P

I’m gona to blog about my 21st birthday celebrations! :)
After much thinking, I was sure that I don’t like to entertain and handle different groups of guests at once.
So I decided just to celebrate with family and friends separately.
Although my celebration wasn’t a huge party, but I still enjoyed it very much!
I think it’s just going to be a short post because I feel that I somehow lost the feel to blog in detail :/

5th Jan 2012

Started off with the fist celebration with my group of poly cuties on 5th Jan at Alps Cafe.
They chose the place so I didn’t have to think of where and what to do :D

Here’s telling you all a mini secret haha!
When u all asked cheryle bring me to the toilet, I already know that you all are going to get the cake :P
Then I further confirmed it and even saw the cake box because...
The lady that spoke loudly shouted “serve the cake serve the cake!”
while cheryle was inside the toilet and I was standing outside HAHA!
Saw the lady take the cake in the box out when I was standing outside the toilet.

But what surprised me was the way you all gave me my present!
Really surprised when u all pass me my present!
My old bag inside the new bag! :D

Third round of celebration with my seconday school buddies!
This time round I had to choose the place to go.
Had a hard time deciding where to go and in the end decided to go 2D1N Soju Bang.
Wanted to give it a try since I never went there before.
We went for the a la carte not the meat buffet.

Fourth round of celebration with my bestie since primary school!
On the 9th of Jan night, MIC asked me where I went for celebration.
Found out that she actually wanted to bring me to 2D1N Soju Bang!
Of so many restaurants we happen to think of the same one!!!

She had no choice but to change the place :/
In the end, she brought me to an atas bar at boat quay.
The first floor is a bar and the second floor is a place for fine dining.

After dinner we initially planed to go home already, but on the way...
MIC saw the place that she wanted to bring me to.
So we decided to go up have a look!

Located near raffles place mrt, it’s called 1 Altitude!
The view up there is super nice!!!
Had to pay $25 for the alcohol and it was stated that females must be 21 and above while males have to be 25 and above.
The person asked if we were 21, we said we are 21 this year and he allowed us up! :D
So in the end we went back late and was still in the train when the clock strike 12!
Spent the first few minute of my actual birthday on the MRT.

Fifth round of celebration was a surprise!
Uni friends are so nice to have prepared a surprise for me!

Before the class the bought a cake and brought it into the classroom!
The whole class sang a birthday song, thanks to all my classmates :)

Of so many people in the class, I don’t know why angelina decided to choice dr ray to help us take photo.
Haha, anyway it nice :D

Then at night, went to melt-the world cafe at mandarin oriental hotel with my aunt for buffet dinner!

Hui Qing’s 21st!

Celebrated Hui Qing’s 21st on this day.
Initially we wanted to plan a picnic at Marina Barrage, but in the end due to time constrain we eventually decided to bake cupcakes only.

Met Grace, Catherine and Vanessa in the morning at hougang and went to get the ingredients.
Bought our lunch over to Vanessa’s house and we started baking.

We were super late after baking the cup cake!
So sorry that we had to make Hui Qing wait for us super long :(

Met Hui Qing at City Hall and had dinner at Sushi Tei.

After dinner we walked to esplanade and sat there for a mini picnic haha!
Initially we wanted to go Marina Barrage but the plan wasn’t workable since we were late :/
So we ended up at esplanade.

USS Halloween Horror Night

I just realised, my posts are always late and I have to put the date above so as not to cause confusion with the date posted :(
How sad! I’m getting lazier and lazier to blog...
But... I don’t have the intention to close down my blog yet! :D

Anyway, on the 28th of Oct...
My aunt was given free tickets to the USS Halloween but she didn’t want to go, so she gave it to us!

Before entering USS.

Entered USS and the front part was still ok.
Started to get scary when we walked further in.
It was misty and the accident part was where the people start scaring us!

There was one part where by me together with MIC and Rui Ting got surrounded by 3 people there.
We screamed like hell and was trapped by those 3 who where trying to scare us.

We entered one so called ghost house, and we kept getting scared and chased after.
I shouted like mad! Seriously have never shouted until my voice went hoarse before!
Even felt that my leg was pulled!

After we got out from the so called ghost house, there was reporter there!
Nickie and Rui Ting got interviewed and appeared in the news!

Other than the scary part, 4 rides were opened and we took 2!

The rides part was fun!
Took something like teacup and an indoor roller coaster.
That mummy roller coaster was fun!
Shout and shout throughout the ride but I enjoyed it!

Outdoor roller coaster’s waiting time was way too long!
30mins and 45mins each, so we didn’t took it.

Batam Trip part 2

Super lazy me is here to blog on the second part of my Batam trip!

15 Sept 2011
Woke up after the alarm rang at I forgot what time. haha!
Then we prepared to go down to the hotel’s cafe for breakfast.
Who knows just as we were to get out of our room to the cafe, the whole hotel suddenly blackout!
MIC and I took the stairs down.
Basically everyone’s using the stairs!

Went to the cafe and it was in total darkness.
The staff placed small lamps here and there.
We went to take food for breakfast and I just anyhow took some because I was not able to clearly see what the food was!
After breakfast, the hotel was back to normal so we took the lift up.

Packed out stuffs and drank the drinks we bought yesterday.

After that we went down to the lobby and the tour guide came to fetch us.
Then we went to another hotel to fetch the others before we headed to the ferry terminal.

Since we had sometime before our ferry departs, we went to the mall opposite the ferry terminal.

Again we had nothing to shop and we ended up here!

Sing sang sung for 1 hour though the system wasn’t that great but the price was considered cheap!

After that we went to buy donuts from J.Co and then went to Starbucks!

Then we went to A&W for lunch.
Bought the curly fries!!

Then, time to board the ferry!

This time round the ferry has outdoor and indoor seats! We sat the one outside!

Around evening, we reached Singapore!

Batam Trip

OK! I’m finally here to blog on my batam trip!
Shall blog it day by day, so here’s day 1.

14 Sept 2011
Early in the morning, I woke up at 5am plus!
Arranged to meet MIC at 6am because our ferry leaves at 8.20 and we are suppose to be there 90mins before departure.
We are supposed to reach there at 6.50am!
Super early! But in the end, we reached at around 7.15am? HAHA

Queued to get our tickets.
While queuing, MIC suddenly commented "why is there only guys queuing? No female going?!”
After awhile a few females came to queue, but still more males than females.

Paid for fuel, tax etc and got our tickets.
Chiong-ed to buy breakfast because we were told that we can start entering.
Bought our breakfast and stuffed the food it our mouth.
I was unable to so ended up stuffing the food in my bag!
Was afraid that they will not allow me to bring food in but I managed to haha!

Boarding started at 8.15am? (I forgot exact time :X)

Finally.. We reached!

Found our tour guide and he told us to board the number 95 bus.

After we board the bus, we couldn’t stop laughing to ourselves!
There were no one around our age group in the bus!
All there was were old couples, probably there to relax.

Luckily four ladies boarded the bus before the tour started.
Although they were not of our age group too, but they were quite nice during lunch.

We were brought to a temple at first, after that to a house that people over there produced layered cake.
After that it was lunch time!

MIC and I together with the four ladies sat together for lunch.
The way the comment on the food and stuffs where very funny!
Especially one of the dish called gong gong :D Had an enjoyable lunch!

After lunch we were brought to a place to see a mini performance.
Then to the go-kart whereby only me and MIC went to play while the whole bus of people waited for us.
And after the go-kart, went to a place to to take photos.

Then to some shop that sells clothes and shoes and finally, to the shopping mall.
Entered the mall but there was nothing much to our interest.
So we went to the supermarket!

Bought things like instant noodles, snacks and drinks.

Then we were tired and wanted to take a seat for awhile.
Went to KFC since the tour guide recommended that KFC is nice and that there were people who came to batam for KFC.
So happen that the tour guide saw us and he helped us ordered the food.

We shared but didn’t eat the rice.
(The thingy packed in red/white paper is rice)

As the all the other people in the tour wanted to go for massage,
only MIC and I were left to continue shopping in that mall.

Nothing to do, we went to buy slippers!
Now we have the same slippers! Haha.
Then again, nothing to do…
In the end, we went to the arcade and play!

Played and played until it was the time for us to gather at the front door.
Went to the front door, but there was only the tour guide there.
The other people in the tour group all extended their massage timing.

And one thing! All of them stayed in a same hotel except us!
Sobbs! So poor thing! Only us.
Since there were not ready yet and we stayed in a different hotel,
we were brought to the hotel first.

Our room..

Checked in the hotel.
We were too tired, and so we took a nap before heading out.
It was super cold to nap at that time because I didn’t want to tuck in to the blankets without bathing!
I was really dirty after the go-kart ride as some water splashed onto me :(
Accidentally drove into a pool of water :(
After the short nap, we walked to the shopping mall behind our hotel room.

Walked around and found the food street in the mall.
Went to have A&W! It was what we aimed for dinner haha!
After dinner, again nothing much to shop.
Walked around the mall for awhile and ended up playing the arcade again!

As I didn’t bring the arcade card out, we had to walk back to the hotel to get it.
The journey between the hotel and the mall was kinda scary!
There is a pedestrian zebra crossing it doesn’t seem like there is one over there!
Cars just zoom pass and kinda ignored the zebra crossing!
Also, there were people sitting my the road side begging for money.
We were so scared that we walked super fast!

Played a few rounds at the arcade and went back to the hotel earlier than expected due to the scary walking journey.

Back in the hotel, we opened the sparking juice we bought!
Had fun opening the bottle! HAHA!
It goes “poppp!” super loud! And once it popped, we shouted!
After shouting, we started laughing!

Initially, we wanted to cook instant cup noodles for supper.
But the kettle has corroded!
So we went down to the receptionist and asked for a change of kettle.
Went back to our room, waited and waited but no one came to change.
Then we called the house keeping to ask for a change.
Waited and waited, finally it came.

However, by the time the kettle has been changed..
We were already too tired!
Hair was already dried and we couldn’t take it any more!
Went to sleep!!

That’s the end of day 1! :)

Sunny Girl Closed Door Event

It’s me :)
Here to blog about Sunny Girl Closed Door event organised by Channel U!

Won the tickets from Channel U to attend this event.
MIC told me about the contest to get the tickets.
So I sent in my e-mail to them and was lucky enough to be one of the 75 people to get a pair of tickets to this event.

So back to post proper, this time round I’m lazy, so I’m not going to credit my photos.
The event was held at Ritz Carlton Hotel on this week’s Tuesday.
Initially I didn’t know how to go, I use google map to recognise the building and was lucky enough to spot the building once I got out from promenade MRT station.

Met MIC there since she came from work.
Queued to get registered and then we were given a sticker by them.
One thing is that, everyone were already queuing outside to get registered.
After registration, we still had to queue to wait for everyone to get registered before we are allowed to enter the room.
Once everyone got registered and the door was opened, everyone started squeezing to get into the room.
So i feel that they should have already started to open the door and let people enter once they get registered.
This way, there will be much lesser squeezing and pushing because only people who are done with registration can enter.

So in the end the staff had to resort to threatening fans saying that they will cancel the event if everyone is pushing.
Entered the place we were lucky enough to get a seat on the third row.

The emcee of the event were Chong Qing and Wei Bin.

Wu Chun arrived and then they started off with some chit chatting.
Talked about his video chat on Monday and what he has done so far in Singapore.

Then he talked about his hotel! Super funny!
He said while he was showering, he could see the Singapore Flyers!
And he didn’t close the curtains or something.
He said if people on the flyers used a telescope, they might have saw him showering!
Then Chong Qing jokingly told him that telescopes in Singapore all sold out! HAHA!

After talking there were some games.
And after the games, there was an early celebration for Wu Chun’s birthday!
So early! It’s like one month before!

I passed my driving!!!

24 Aug 2011 marked the end of my driving lessons.
I was really happy to be able to pass in my first attempt but on the other hand,
I was a little sad because there’s no more driving lessons :(
Really don’t know why but I was a little sad.
Maybe because I have nothing to do and there’s nothing I look forward to achieve after I passed?

Took the driving test on 24 August at 11am and YAY! I passed!

The day before the test I had my last lesson, my 20th lesson.
It has been a week since I last entered the circuit!
Went in and then I forgot a bit of stuff here and there.
Was kinda blur and I felt nervous because tomorrow is my test date!

On the day itself, waited for my instructor at 9.30am.
Drove to SSDC from admiralty MRT and then had some warm up.
After the warm up, went to to waiting room.
The room was in total silence!
Even more quiet as compared to a library!

I was actually the last or 2nd last to enter the room!
But I was 2nd to get called out.

Initially, a little scared.
Went into the circuit and it went off quite smoothly.
So I was sort of calmed down while in the circuit.

However, when I got out of the circuit and onto the roads.
I did something I forgot to do while driving.
And I got scolded! LOL

I got real worried and scared that I felt my heart beat beating the same as how the car signal goes!
Thinking back, it’s damn funny!
The car signal goes tic tok tic tok and same goes to my heart beat!
Seriously super scared while I was on the road after I got scolded! HAHA

Initially only 4 demerit points in the circuit.
2 for steering whilst vehicle is stationary at the vertical parking,
and 2 for steering whilst vehicle is stationary at the parallel parking.

Got outside, damn nervous after I got scolded.
In the end got more demerit points outside the circuit!
Come to think of it, I was actually more worried for circuit before the test!
Haha! But anyway, I passed! :D

My temporary driving license!

Thank you Mr Hap!
Although the fees cost more as compared to other private instructor,
but I feel that it is worth it and I really enjoyed my driving lessons!

Now that I’ve passed my driving, the only thing I can look forward to is to start my school life!
Or maybe before that, I can look forward to my Batam trip with MIC? Hehe!

Or maybe, hope that my father allows me to drive more often? LOL
It’s quite a big change from Honda Jazz (while learning) to a Honda Stream (my dad’s car).
I think I have to show him that I am capable of driving his long car out before he allows me to drive more often.
Now I am having post driving lesson? HAHA
My father will guide me when I drive out, just like having lessons LOL!

Okay! I’m off to watch variety shows!

Bon Voyage to Wen Ying

Its been quite sometime since I have been updating my blog regularly and
I’m trying to get back my blogging mood!
So here I am :)

Last Tuesday I met up with Cheryle and Jing Ting for dinner at Jurong Point.
After dinner we went to develop a photo that I’ve edited.
Four into one!
Cheryle and I decided to get a photo frame for Wen Ying as she is going over to Seattle to further her studies.

So here’s the photo we developed for her!

These were photos we took in our hostel at Ireland while playing around with the new dresses we bought and the hats/sunglass brought over.
We were laughing at those photos while choosing them!

Then on last Wednesday, we met Wen Ying for dinner.
Also at Jurong Point! Haha!
Went to Din Tai Fung :)
Shall not post the tempting photos of the food!

An outing with Aoife in Singapore

It’s been quite sometime since I last updated my blog.

On national day, the 9th of august... I met up with Aoife and the rest!
We walked from Chinatown to Clarke Quay then to Singapore flyers.
It has already been almost 1.5 years since I last saw Aoife!

When we were in Ireland, she was the one who brought us around.
So when she’s here, it’s our turn!
Met them at Chinatown as my relatives came to my house so I left home late.

They were at a temple when I reached and I called Cheryle.
She said she’ll come out and look for me.
Who know….
While I was standing outside the temple waiting for Cheryle, Aoife appeared in front of me!

I was looking at her and she was looking at me. Damn funny!
I called her and she said when she was looking at me she was thinking “yeah. I know you..”! HAHA!!!
So, together with the Junior batch students from DFST, we brought her around.

That was the last time I saw her before she went back :(

Aaron Yan Music Show Case and Sheng Siong Show

Second event, was the music show case.
Met MIC at around 8.30 am and took the train to Harbour Front.

Went to queue outside St James once we reached.
There was already MANY people there!

Look at the queue, there’s more in front!

At around 10am MIC went to buy our branch, Burger King.

Realised that we’re always eating Burger King on the road or by the road uh!
Previous time we had BK breakfast by the road.
Not very nice to eat by or on the road but these will be a very memorable experiences HAHA!

The sun that day was scorching hot!
Initially when we reached, it wasn’t hot at all.
In fact it was super windy!
Got hotter and hotter as time passes.
Despite having an umbrella each, MIC and I still got sunburnt!

Finally allowed in at around 3pm.
Made our way in and managed to get a place quite in front but at the side.

I was standing so near to this big speaker! OMG la!
They should have placed this some where else!

The event didn’t last for very long.
He sang a few songs, played the piano and played a 比手畫腳 game.

Also picked out three lucky fans though the post it pad.

After the event, MIC and I had the dehydrated feel.
Walked into Vivo City and then BK appeared in front of us.
Went in, found a seat and then bought drinks to hydrate ourselves.

Eventually decided to make our way to Media Corp even though we didn’t have tickets to attend the Sheng Siong Show.
Some one posted on HIM Facebook that she has an extra ticket so we thought, just go there and try luck see if we can get one from the girl that posted on the web and get another one on the spot there.
But in the end, we didn’t manage to meet the girl that posted on Facebook.

Stood beside the reception counter feeling lost.
Suddenly I saw someone taking out many tickets in an envelope.
His friend commented “wah! so many?” and he replied saying “ya we have extra”
Then they were talking want to sell the tickets.

So we heck care, asked them if they had extra.
Then they asked how many we want, they only had 2 extra.
So just nice! for MIC and I.
Surprisingly they gave it to us free!
THANK YOU VERY MUCH! :D:D:D

Initially we still think if we didn’t get tickets, then it would be a wasted trip.
Luckily we went and was lucky enough to get tickets!
After the show, we were super tired!
Shagged to the max due to insufficient sleep!
Took cab home after everything ended :)

Aaron Yan Autograph Session

FINALLY, I’m posting it!
Forced my blogging feel back hahaha!

Aaron Yan’s autograph session.
Made my way to IMM myself in the morning and went to the garden plaza.
There was a security guard there and I wasn’t allowed in.
Asked the security guard where the queue was and he told me it was at level 4.

Went to level 4 and sat down with the queue at the warehouse area.
Got to know a new friend as she was also alone at that time.

Sat for quite sometime and around late morning or early afternoon, we were directed into the garden plaza.
Vanessa joined me thereafter.
Initially we had some problems because I was already in the barricade and was given a IMM card.
End up I went out to find her and so luckily the situation then allowed her to join me.
Lazy explain whole thing, just so she can joined and have the IMM card :)

While getting out of the barricade we saw Vanessa’s friend, she was alone and she joined us after that!
Sat for hours until our butt hurts! LOL

It’s me!
Haven’t been blogging for a very very long time!!!
Not that I’ve forgotten this place! But there’s nothing much I can blog about :(

So finally! I have photos for blogging.
Went K-ing at scape this Monday night which was a few days back.
Went for the $8 promo :D

Oh ya! I went to kbox at Choa Chu Kang with Siew Ping and Wei Chiang 2 weeks back I think.
Ping asked me to apply the Student Kala card.
Now I have the card! If possible, hope can go again! With the card, it’s only $6 :D

Ok, back from my side track.
Met Catherine, Grace, Hui Qing and Vanessa at Orchard MRT and we walked to Cineleisure for dinner.
Jing Ting joined us awhile later and had dinner together too.

Due to our dinner, we went in the room late.
Around 7 plus. Sadly, we were told to leave around 10 pm.
No extra time :(

Graduation

It’s GRADUATION!
On 25 May 2011 :):):)

Went to school earlier to meet them!

Initially planned to take photos before our graduation ceremony but the weather was madness!
So in the end, we only took with our formal wear.

Cousin came to look for me :) but I was sweating like hell!

Finally went to the convention centre when it was about time we get seated!
My parents went after me and managed to get their way to the convention centre,
so I didn’t manage to meet them before the event start.

Just before entering, I saw Ying Xiu!

And Irene! La Lian! haha!

Finally went in and got seated.
Found out that Ying Xiu’s friend Si Man happen to be seated beside me on my left.

My seat number was X34.

And Cheryle was seated on my right.

And I didn’t manage to take photo with my parents because they went back like damn early!

Because it was her birthday and she didn’t attend the ceremony!

Until most of the parents went back.

Then we decided to have dinner together outside since we didn’t get to eat the buffet.
No more food when we wanted to eat! LOL

In the end we went to Xin Wang at Marina Square for dinner.
By the time we were at the restaurant ordering food, it was already 9 pm plus nearing 10!
Hungry until no feel already! Haha!

Then the next day was MIC’s graduation day.
Hers was in the morning and I didn’t went because I was having some gastric issue, couldn’t sleep and ended up sleeping early in the morning.

In the end we had an impromptu meet up.
Met at Choa Chu Kang MRT and trained to school!

Its been quite sometime since i last blogged.
This time round I’m blogging on Grace’s birthday celebration!
Met them at Bugis and we walked to Chef Daniel’s Restaurant at Illuma.

After lunch, we presented Grace with her first present.
Haha! It’s a passport!

And her flight ticket!

Then the birthday cake was served after we had our desert.
The desert was a cake as well! Super full after that!

After lunch we went roaming around Bugis and went to Old Airport road food centre for dinner.

I’m back!
Have been hk drama-ing these few days because tw dramas more or less watch until I don’t know what I can watch already.
Have been tw drama-ing for so many years, time for a change?

Currently, this is my last draft post.

Went to Vivo City with Li Fang.

Had early dinner at Kim Gary.

After our early dinner, went to buy tickets to take the Sentosa Express train to Resort World Sentosa.
I had tickets to the Star Awards.
The ticket stated that they open at 6 pm.

We reached before 6 pm but there was a BIG crowd at the red carpet.
Initially we didn’t know that there was a red carpet.
Eventually we managed to squeeze in the crowd and see what’s going on.

Then we started to realise the entrance was else where.
Those who crowded at the red carpet area were either fans or the public without tickets.
So we squeezed out of the crowd and went to find the entrance.

Then He Jun Xiang and Ah Ya came to give out the top 10 female artistes.

He Jun Xiang had events at Taiwan during the period when I was at Taiwan.
Didn’t see him in Taiwan but ended up seeing him in Singapore.

Wanted to have Gong Cha but they closed already. :(
So we went home after that.

Finally!
I managed to finish blogging on my Taiwan trip.

So now back to my proper happenings..
This shall be a short post!
After I came back from Taiwan, the Friday of that week happens to be a Good Friday.
Family went to Waraku at east cost for lunch.

Taiwan Trip Day 8

Finally settled Day 7!
Had some problems uploading it just now!!

20/4/2011 - Day 8

The very last day, Day 8 :(
We finish up with the last packing of luggage in the morning and then went down to the lobby with our luggage at 11 am.

We were suppose to check out at 12 pm but since we want to walk around XImending, we decided to check out earlier.
Headed to have our late breakfast first..

Finally had the ah zhong mian xian…

Ordered the bigger bowl..

Went to STAGE after that..

Then went to CD shop to pre-order SJM version B album..

We initially wanted to order one and share.
But we were told that everyone has to order something.
So we ordered two sides.

After lunch, we continued with our very last minute shopping and then went back to the hotel to collect our luggage.
The hotel staff helped us call the freego bus in the morning telling them to come at 5 pm.
So we just have to go to the waiting point at 5 pm.
Dragged our luggage to the waiting point and while waiting, we took pictures.

Me and Kpo, Vanei went to buy sweets!

Reached Tao Yuan airport after 1 hour plus.
Went to queue for check in after we reach.

This time round, our seats were in the middle.
And boarding pass much better too!

We bought the 20 kg for luggage when buying the air tickets.
My luggage weighed 20.3 kg and luckily, I wasn’t charged extra!
Vanei’s luggage also 20.3 if i didn’t remember wrongly..
Then Kpo’s luggage was 18.5 kg, and we added on a small carton that contained 4 bottles of grape juice.

At first we weighed Kpo’s luggage, it was 18.5 kg..
Add on the small carton, it weighed 22 kg plus.
Initially we thought no choice, have to hand carry it already.
But heck care, just ask the staff.

So after Kpo checked in her luggage, we asked if we could check in the carton.
Then the staff said can, we still got 2 kg!
Don’t care, just check in!
I really wonder if it was the staff that was lenient, he allowed us.
Or that we previously weigh, the machine gave us the wrong weight?

After checking in, we went inside and then there wasn’t much choice of food.
So we had Starbucks for dinner!

I forgot all the name already, so I’ll just show the picture haha!

After dinner, we made our way to the plane..
Hand carried some of our stuff and it was heavy!
Luckily we were able to check in the small carton!

There’s no escalator! No trolleys (from plane to custom)!
Walked quite a distance before we reached the custom!
Dad came to fetch me and Kpo back.

Can’t believe it I actually managed to finish all 8 days!
Years back when I went 7 days to Taiwan with my family, I only blogged till day 4! HAHA!~

Taiwan Trip Day 7

19/4/2011 - Day 7

This day, we went out at 9 am plus near 10 am.
So we assumed that there is no more breakfast...
Went down, there was breakfast but we didn’t bring the coupon down.
So we decided not to have breakfast in the hotel.

Walked out to Ximending, and again... not many shops were opened yet...
Went to KFC but they don’t have breakfast..
Eventually decided to go to the flora expo first and see if there’s food over there.

There were a lot of people at the flora expo!

Again, student price ticket! NTD 200.

Our breakfast…

After breakfast, we went around taking photos.
Didn’t manage to enter any places inside the flora expo because all the tickets to enter other attractions in the flora expo were all given out and there is no more tickets for us to collect :(

It was super hot that day!
I cannot take it and even took out the umbrella.
Who knows! Vanei and I still got sunburnt! WTH!

Super hot at the flora expo and we couldn’t enter other places.
So we didn’t cover the whole place because it was too big and SUPER HOT!

Made our way to Xin Dian Station and then took a bus to Wulai.
Over there was better! Strong wind and no scorching hot sun!

After walking past the old street, we walked through this bridge..

Then started realised it was quite far from where we are to the waterfall.
So we stood there and didn’t know what to do..
Take a bus? Take taxi?
Then a taxi driver came and approach us..
So we eventually took a taxi..

We didn’t go to the very top because the cable car was quite ex and the taxi was gone.

Walked around and then saw this...
Wondering what was it, we walked towards it to take a look.

Then we walked back to the station and bought the tickets to take it back down to the Wulai old street.
It was 50 dollars cheaper than taking the taxi!

After we bought tickets, we went taking photos..

Which was nearby were we took the taxi up..

Then we were hungry so decided to buy some food!

After that we took the bus back to Xian Dian station.
On the bus, Kpo’s dad called.
Asked her what she was doing and she told her dad she bought the two sticks of meat.
Damn funny because she was talking normally and then when she mentioned the key words (mountain pig),
she whispered to her father haha!!!

Reached Xian Dian station and then took the train to Gong Guan and met Eddie.
Eddie brought us to Gong Guan Night Market if I’m not wrong..

Eddie treated us this.
Something like Kong Ba Bao in Singapore..

After that bought bubble tea and then went walking around..
Eddie brought us to walk around a water park but there was no water in sight..
Probably because it was already late at night and they closed it…

After that he brought us to NTU..
National Taiwan University.
It looked more like a park around home estate.
Doesn’t look like a school to me!

Then Eddie brought us to a cake shop..
Bought a cake but we were damn full!

So in the end, Kpo and him finish it!

”Good girl” Kpo doesn’t waste food, so she ate it.

After that we went back…

Taiwan Trip Day 6

I’m back for day 6!
Took a mini break because one shot posted a few post haha!
But I need to finish up with my day 6-8 so that normal postings can go on!
This post has MANY photos and I hope it won’t take too long to load the page..

18/4/2011 - Day 6

This day, we missed the breakfast because by the time we got down the food were already on the process of being kept away.
Decided to go to the Macdonalds located nearby the hotel since not many shops were opened at that timing.

My Mac breakfast.
In Taiwan, the Sausage McMuffin is made of pork.

After breakfast, we made our way to Taipei 101!
Trained and then took a bus before we reached there.

Went into the 5th floor? (If I didn’t remember wrongly)
It was were the tickets were sold.
Showed our ez-link card and was able to get the student rare tickets at NTD 350.

Took the lift up to the 89th floor (photo not accurate because i took it at 88th floor)
It took 30++ seconds to get up to the 89th floor.

They have different sections at the top and when you are at a particular section,
press the section number you are at and the audio device will tell you more on that you are looking at.

We didn’t listen much to the audio device.
Took it because of curiosity! Haha!

Here in Singapore the Gong Cha doesn’t have the big cup.

After our late lunch, we went to Taipei Arena.

After that went to Miramar!!!

After that we went back to Ximending.
Went to Party World to book a room and then walked back to our hotel.
Bathed and then went to Party World around 10 pm
We were given the room from 10.30 pm to 5 am!

Each person lowest spending have to be NTD 99.
So we ordered some food.

So funny!
We initially wanted to order the cheese one.
But we don’t know how to read the Chinese words!
So it was hard to order through the phone service.|

Kpo so funny!!
The normal wedges cost 60 and the cheese one cost 80 if i didn’t remember wrongly.
So Kpo called them using the phone there and said she wanted the 80 dollar wedges! LOL
The way she say it through the phone was so funny!
”Errr.…… I want the.. *eighty dollar* wedges”
(** is where she speak as if she was very paiseh)
Luckily the wedges there they called it fries in Chinese.
If not we also won’t know how to order haha!

Initially, we were given a small room.
I think people stood outside the area and smoke.
So the room was filled with the cigarette smell.

After that we couldn’t take it so called the service and they said they’ll send people in to spray.
The sprayed lemon smell fragrance but the cigarette smell was still very strong.
Then after 1 hour, a staff came in and asked if there was anything they could improve on.
We comment that the cigarette smell was too strong and so they suggested to change a room for us!

Yes! They changed a big room for us!

At around 4 am, the staff came to collect the bill.
Each of us paid slightly less than $15 sing dollar.

We didn’t order more food and we didn’t reach the minimum spending of 99.
We were still charged.. So wasted! But we were not hungry…
After the staff came back with our change, we went back to the hotel!
Couldn’t take it already! Tired!!!
4 am plus and the wind was SUPER COLD and I was freezing!!!

Walked back to the hotel and then we slept!

Taiwan Trip Day 5

17/4/2011 - Day 5

Previously arranged to meet Eddie 10 am at Xin Dian before we went to Taiwan.
So this day we didn’t have breakfast at the hotel.

Took the train to Xin Dian..
The train looks so empty...

Met Eddie at Xin Dian station.
He then brought us to his uncle’s shop there.

After that we went to walk around Bitan.
It was raining and the wind was hell cold!

It was the place where Taiwan version of playful kiss was filmed!
Both part 1 and 2 have if I’m not wrong.
Walked around there for awhile and we had bean curd there.

It was cold but Vanei and I still had cold bean curd!

After walking around Bitan, we went back to the shop to slack because it was raining and our plan to Wu Lai was kind of ruined.

Eventually decided to go to Shi Da Night Market earlier and maybe go sing K.
Reached there and not many shops were opened.
Decided to go K but when we asked around, there doesn’t seem to have K!

So we went back to ximending.
Went back to the hotel and wore our jackets because it was really very cold that day!
Got our jackets and went out again!

Bought food nearby our hotel..

Again, we woke up at 9 am and had breakfast at the hotel lobby dining area.
After breakfast, we went to Taipei Main Station.

Bought the train tickets to Rueifang.

Finally reached after 1 hour..

Then we went to queue for the bus to get to Jiu Fen.

15/4/2011 - Day 3

Again, we woke up at 9 am and had breakfast at the hotel lobby dining area.
After breakfast we went back to our room, prepared and went to wufenpu!

Once again, when we reached…
The shops were not opened yet!

Naughty Grace suggest us to play a game!
Super hilarious!
MIC told me when you’re at wufenpu, try not to let them know you’re from overseas.
It’ll be easier to negotiate on the price.

So this Kpo Grace said we shall not say “Lah, Leh and Lor”
Then she asked us to guess who will say it out first.
Still say whoever says it will be fined 10 cents!
Vanessa and I guess that she will be the first to say! LMAO!

Indeed, she was the first to say!
When she said it, still don’t want to admit.
Then she claim saying “I’m very ke lian leh! I didn’t say it! It’s you all who always bully me lor!”
(Notice, her sentence mentioned leh and lor!)
Want to claim that she didn’t mention it, yet ended up saying it again!
The more she claim that she’s innocent, the more lah leh lor she say! ROLF!

So since wufenpu is not opened yet, we roamed around and eventually found a place to sit.
But we are not allow to sit without ordering something.

Since there was only cold noodles or soup, we ordered a plate of cold noodles.
Slowly ate it and then started out shopping when the shops start to open.

Wufenpu is a place like bugis,
only difference is that it is much much bigger and that motors are allow into the streets!
So dangerous with motors suddenly passing by you while you are walking!
Cars and vans could also be found at the larger roads in between shops!

Shop, shop shopped at wufenpu,
we didn’t managed to shop the whole place!
It was too big and we were thirsty and tired!
Went to a shop called hi-mart according to vanei…

So after we bought the drinks, we went to a park that we saw to take a rest!
My legs were really very tired!

We sat there and watched how kids play at the playground.
Saw many funny scenes!

Funny scene 1: A girl cried and another girl stood facing her with arms crossed staring at how she cried.

Funny scene 2: A mother looked as if she wanted to play the slide,
so she brought her child up the slide and pushed her child down.
Then herself then took the slide down.
While another mother carried her child throughout the whole sliding activity.
Totally different mothers!

Funny scene 3: A little boy seemed like he just learnt how to walk.
The way he walked was so funny!
What’s more? He fell down but while he was falling, the whole thing took placed in a slow motion!
So cute, seeing how he fell slow motion!
And, he didn’t cry!

While lazing around the park, siwon tweet!
He said seeya later at Taipei Arena! Now I regret not going there when we saw his tweet!

So after lazing around the park, we went to Raohe Night Market.
It was near wufenpu, so we walked there.

Yes, it’s time for food again!
I’m so going to post all the food that we ate!

Called Yi Kou Jian according to the sign board.
Quite nice but nicer one is yet to come!

Thought it was those kind that will have cheese melting out.
But no! we were wrong.
It was cheese powder that made it cheese ji pa.

After eating so much, we went to shop around the night market.

Taiwan Trip Day 2

14/4/2011 - Day 2

Early Morning we woke up at 9 am and had breakfast at the hotel lobby dining area.
Breakfast ends at 10 am so if you want to have breakfast at the hotel,
you’d have to wake up before they keep the food away.
But by the time we’re down, some food had already been finished.

Went to buy Koi at ximending before heading to our next destination.

We trained to wufenpu

We were too early and the shops were not opened yet.
To add on, I remembered MIC told me Mondays and Thursday they usually cater to whole sale buyers.
So we decided to change our plan since it was a Thursday that day.

Went to Taipei Main Station underground shopping.
Nothing much there! Really nothing much!

I suddenly find the boy at the left hand corner very cute!
He looks like he is walking and shopping alone lols…

All three of us didn’t buy anything except Kpo and I bought the SJ-M album.
I was very lucky to be able get the photo card I wanted!
It was one one eighth of a chance to get it!

The underground shopping was long but there was nothing that interest us!
The undergroud shopping lasted for 2 MRT stations!
We walked past two stations before we too the train to Dan Shui!

Happened to see this while walking to Dan Shui from the MRT station!
So nice!

Walked around and ate lots of food!

I asked her, you think kpo will get down at shilin?
Then Vanei replied me saying, you see for yourself lor!
We started um chio-ing when the MRT reached Shilin.
Then kpo really wanted to get down but since we didn’t she also didn’t get down! HAHA

Reached Shilin and saw the long queue! OMG
The queue for ji pa was madness!
Nevertheless, we queued for it!

13/4/2011 - Day 1

I had something on in the morning so I passed my luggage to Grace at Yew Tee MRT station.
After that wasn’t in time to catch her sister’s car ride to the airport,
so I went to Hougang from the place where I was and took Vanessa’s father car there.

I didn’t had lunch.
Went to Terminal 1 from the Budget Terminal and it was damn troublesome.
Budget Terminal (take bus) –> Terminal 2 (take sky train) –> Terminal 1
And then back again! Just to collect my free pan pizza.

After that went to check in.
Took Tiger Airways and budget is really budget!

Look at our boarding pass..
I looked just like a receipt.

Nice sky.

Started to get bored so we played cards.

The sky then slowly started to get dark..

And it got even darker.

Reached Taipei at around 8.30 pm.
Queued to get our passport chopped and went to collect our luggage.
Took the Freego bus to our hotel first.

Wonstar Hotel, Chung Hua branch located at Ximending.

The bed that the three of us slept together for 7 nights.

Checked in our hotel and went to ximending for dinner.
Bought snacks and shared.

Ma La Sausage! Love it!

After that went went to the 24 hours Mos Burger located beside our hotel for snacks again.
I had corn soup :)

Got back to our hotel, bathed and then went to the lobby to use wifi.
It was really funny, there was a staff that greeted us good night whenever he sees us that night.
Thats all for day 1!

I’m here for a short post.
13 hours later I’ll be flying to Taiwan!
Just sort of finished packing my luggage and almost settling how I’m going to go to the airport.
Thanks to the understanding and helpful friends of mine who are going to Taiwan with me
Without them, I think I’ll have difficulties with how I am going to get to the airport due to some personal reasons.
I hope that the trip will be an enjoyable and memorable one.

Please get well soon or at least not deteriorate !

It’s me!
Almost two weeks from the last post!
This time round I’m blogging on the eawards!
Went to the eawards yesterday.

Ying Xiu, Vanessa and I won the tickets from OMY..

Ying Xiu called Mei Xin along and i managed to date this missing in action girl out!!!
While Vanessa gave the tickets to her JC friend because she already bought the ticket.

After the event ended, I suggested that we get out thru the north entrance because it’s nearer to the MRT station.
Walked out of the north entrance and derrick hoh’s board was the first thing i spotted!

Realised that there were many boards and each artiste that attended the event had a board of themselves.
We went around taking photos until the boards were to be shifted away.

Something really dramatic happened then.
Come to think and recall about it can still keep me laughing!
It was super dramatic, super embarrassing and super hilarious!
I laughed until my mouth hurts LOL!

And yep, shall not post what happen because it’s kind of unbelievable!
Only those that I know went to the eawards knew what happened. XD

Second week after last poly exams

Another overdue post!
Last week Friday I met up with Li Fang and we made two mini scrap book.
One for Siew Ping and another one for Zi Hui.
Met up with them this Thursday and had dinner together.
(Yes same day as I was not allowed to take BTT)
Handed them their belated birthday present (mini scrap book) from us.
But, no photos taken :(

Yesterday met up with Li Fang again :))
Thanks for the free movie!!

Li Fang had free movie tickets given by her workplace.
So went to Vivo City with her to watch the movie.
Went the earlier to queue for the free food.

The movie was rango.

Not very nice.. but well since it’s free I shouldn’t complain!
It was free seating! So we had to arrive earlier to get a good seat HAHA!
Unlucky me had my contact lens dropped and I went to the toilet tried putting it back to my eye.
However, it broke :(
I guess maybe in the first place it already broke causing me to feel discomfort.
So we went to an optical shop to get a box of new lens so that I could see properly LOL.
The person asked me something about my cornea as I didn’t know the BC of the lens i should use,
he asked me to have my eyes checked.
So I went in to the room to have my cornea checked, then bought the lens

Finally after getting the lens, we went into the theatre.

Yes! Its’s the free food!
It consisted on a long hot dog bread, nachos, popcorn and 2 cups of drinks!
(popcorns and drinks not in photo haha!)

After that the movie we went to town to walk around.
Had takoyaki at ion!
Then went to scape wanting to collect the free $20 voucher since we had two movie tickets.
But so unlucky! Vouchers were fully redeemed!!!
We ended up taking a free $2 voucher for long john silver and had a free $3 tapz card.

Thereafter, we went to Far East.
Walked around and went back after that.
That’s about it for this post.
Since I’m working next week, not going to blog much next week i guess!

Mel’s belated birthday celebration

Finally, posting my delayed post.
Last Thursday was Melissa’s belated birthday celebration.
We went to Kbox @ Scape.
The $6 promo is still on! haha :D

Went to Taka and then when Cheryle went to pay for her stuff,
Jing Ting, Vanessa and I disappeared to get the birthday cake while Cheryle brought Melissa around to drag time.
It was quite obvious and i guess, she know la! HAHA

After that met Jin Yong at plaza sing and the four of us went to buy the cake.
We asked for the mango cake and then when we went to the cashier, the mango cake was bought away by another person!
Luckily they still have another one in the fridge!
After that walked to Astons at The Cathay.

When we reached, Michelle called to say she reached.
She was at plaza sing and almost lost her way to cathay.
Vanessa guided her through the phone and half way she met Cheryle and Melissa.

Ordered our food and it came so fast!

Again, I had bean curd with soya bean milk.
But!!! Mine was totally tasteless because they forgot to add the sweet syrup i guess.

how come she finish so fast? That nice???
Since Cheryle had hot one without soya bean milk, i took abit of her sweet syrup.

Then they asked me, yours not sweet?
I say NO, totally tasteless!
Then Jing Ting commented that hers was too sweet.

OMG! While blogging, i just realised, maybe they added mine into Jing Ting’s!
That’s why causing mine to be tasteless and hers to be too sweet LOL!!

After that Melissa tried both her new lip sticks.
And then chit chat abit and we went back after that.

What a day…

17th March was MIC’s birthday and I met up with her for early lunch due to my BTT timing.
Actually had my BTT booked at 2 pm at SSDC.

So we had early lunch at 11 am and dragged time till around 1 pm.
We went to the Crystal Jade Restaurant at Causeway Point.
Took the train to admiralty after that as i was suppose to catch the 1.25 pm shuttle bus.
Walked past the overhead bridge and guess what?!
I SAW CUP WALKER!!!
So next time I go learn driving I can drink pudding milk tea!!!

Was happy that I found one nearer to my house!
And then….
I walked down the overhead bridge and saw the shuttle bus passing by!
OMG.. I was like omg!!! The bus go already?!?!
LUCIKLY, the bus stopped and I quickly went forward to the bus!
OMG damn EPIC LAH!
A moment ago happy to have found cup walker and the next moment panicked because I almost missed the bus!

Got up the bus and successfully reached the test venue on time.
BUT, problem doesn’t end here :(

Someone came talking to me asking me something in mandarin.
But the thing is, I don’t know what he was trying to say! LMAO
(whole conversation in mandarin)
He said something like “You also came here to bla bla bla??”
My first reaction was “HUH?”
He repeated again and I HUH again lol.. (really didn’t understand what he was trying to say!)
Then he said, “You don’t understand what I’m saying?”
And i replied “Ya, I don’t know”
ROFL!

Then when we queued to get into the room so that we could get to the respective assigned computer,
I WAS NOT ASSIGNED TO ANY COMPUTER AND MY NAME WAS NOT IN THE LIST!!!!

Didn’t know what on earth happened and the person asked me to show her my receipt.
Showed her my printed receipt and she asked me to approach the front desk people at level one.
(Test venue also level 1)
Then approached the person and the person said “Did you apply under any other driving schools?”
My answer is of course “No!”
Then she checked again and told me, your name is here I don’t know why they don’t have your name inside.
She printed a receipt of theirs and ask me to go to level three to find another desk where there’s staff there.

So I went to level three together with my receipt and their printed receipt.
Approached the staff there and he commented, “You have a receipt and you are not allowed to take the test????”
He then asked me the same question, “Did you apply under any other driving schools?”
My answer is again “No.”

Then he took both receipt and went into the office and finally came out after quite sometime.
He told me, because I booked and paid on a different day, my name was not submitted. =_=
WTH?! But I did pay what?!
The reason why I didn’t pay on the same say was because I booked late at night and my credit card couldn’t be used!
So no choice, I waited for the next day to get my mother’s credit card!

Then the staff told me that they will refund me and I have to get another date.
I was like “I have to get another date and wait for a few months later?!”
The he say he’d help me see if he can book an earlier date for me.

Seriously, damn troublesome and this means that I’ve to study again!!!
Damn sian!
Took the shuttle bus back and went to buy pudding milk tea.
My trip ended up to be going there to get a cup of bubble tea?! LOL

Okay, end of complaining my BTT incident!
I’m so gona sleep soon! Damn tired!!!!

A day out wif MIC

Time for another blog post!
My first week after exams was quite a busy one!

Tuesday I met up with MIC again :)
She brought me to a chicken rice stall at novena.

Looks nice uh?!
Cha siew and roasted chicken.

Didn’t know how to order so we ordered cha siew and roasted chicken for two person portion.
Who knows when the food came… There was so much!!!

In the end, we couldn’t finish :(

And the bill was OMG!

After that we went to far east and i bought new shoes!
Pervious one that looked kinda similar was spoilt :(
So i bought and immediately changed shoes haha!

Exams have ended and I’ve probably graduated.

Finally! exams have ended and we have so called graduated?
I’m afraid I’ll sometimes miss poly life. HAHA!

Okay, it is going to be a short post!

Anyway, I met up with MIC after that terrible APC paper.
Went to pay Mr Ho the oitp accommodation fee and then waited for MIC at fc 2.
We went to The Cathay for lunch at Astons and movie.

Us and the free drink.

Initially after movie I intend to meet Vanessa, Grace and Hui Qing?
I was too tired! Zoombiefied that day!
As the day before i had a super bad flu and it made me unable to sleep!
So I decided to go home and sleep!

Ridiculous me slept from 7 pm plus all the way till 1 am plus.
Went online using my iPod to discuss about the meet up the next day and I went to sleep again! LOL

Met Grace at Yew Tee MRT and we went all the way to Kovan!
Down there, we met Vanessa and bought pudding milk tea!!
Then took bus to her house to discuss on our trip.
I CAN’T WAIT FOR 13 APRIL 2011!!!!
Taiwan here I come! hahaha!!!

It’s finally over

It’s finally over!
Three of us went through all the hardship together.
We slowly got bonded through the “torture” she had given us.
Even though the ending sucks TTM, the experience we had will never be forgotten.

Went through so much together.
From fun and laugher to sufferings and complains.
Recalling what we did together will be good,
but recalling how we communicate and do work under her is seriously not worth recalling.

I don’t think anyone could ever understand how it feels.
Even if we were to complain to others, they will never know how it feels exactly.
I want to thank Michelle and Aziya for going through all these with me.

CNY 2011

Okay!
I’ve gota blog on CNY before my posts pile up again!
Chinese New Year this year was as usual for visiting.

Day 1 went to my father Malaysia relatives house.
Got angbao all in RM.
Then after that went to my brother’s godma house because it was her son’s birthday.
They were not at home and my mother noted the wrong timing.
So we proceed to my mother’s side relative house.
Went to grandma house initially.
Then went upstairs to aunt’s house and i ended up playing mahjong with them!
Lost money but my uncle who won was nice enough to give me and nickie some of his winnings!

Then around evening went to brother’s godma house again for buffet dinner.
After the celebrations, went to my father friend’s house.
Finally home after that.
A VERY LONG DAY WITH MANY VISITINGS!

Day 2 was much better!
Managed to escape the morning visiting!
Slept until late morning.
Then prepared to go my grand mother’s house (this time round father’s side)
Unlike the past years, we were first to reach this time round!
Now i understand my cousin’s sian feeling sitting down waiting for the rest to come!

Finally when all reached, we decided a timing to do downstairs for annual photo shoot!

SUPER SHOW 3

Finally, I’m blogging on Super Show 3 :)

Firstly, a very big THANK YOU to Grace!
She made it possible for me to attend Super Show 3!!!
It’s a wonderful experience and it made me love them even more!

This is going to be a short post.
After this I’ve got to get back to work.
Still got many stuff to do and this last month of poly life is quite stressful!
I can’t wait for 4th march!!! Last paper!
Jealous! many of them who take nano ends on 2nd :(

Okay, I’m side tracking too much haha!
Back to SS3, on 29 January!
Met Grace and Vanessa at around 4 pm plus?
It was slightly drizzling and many people were already there.
Waited to enter indoor stadium for quite sometime.
Initially we looked at the queue, so damn long!
Lazy to queue, so we decided to wait for people to enter before we enter.
However, looking at the queue, it was like never ending!
End up, more and more people went to queue and so, we went to queue as well.

Saw Li Min before queuing and we went to queue together.
We queued for more than 30 minutes before we could enter!

Crystal Jade Buffet

First of all, Happy Chinese New Year!
I’m here to blog about my buffet with secondary school clique at crystal jade.
January is a very happening month, too many things to blog!
(Explaining why I’m blogging my January events in February)

Initially, I was in a dilemma thinking if i should go for this buffet.
Wanted to go Changi Airport to see Super Junior but on the other hand, I was sort of the reason why this buffet was organized.
In the end, I decided to go for the buffet and luckily I did!
Why? because they didn’t came that day..
So if i were to go to airport, it’ll be a wasted trip.

A dinner filled with laughter throughout was very enjoyable!
Although only five of us, but we were very noisy!
Class ended at 5pm that day and buffet was around 8pm.
I went to Funan and bought my camera battery, thanks to Ying Xiu for accompanying me!

After that I met Wei Chiang at Buona Vista MRT.
Waited for Li Fang to arrive and the three of us ended up walking to Holland Village.

Went in Crystal Jade and waited for Siew Ping and Zi Hui.
(Booking under Kristy, 5 people! Haha..)

Ordered the food when all 5 of us arrived.
Xiao Long Bao was delicious!

Steamboat was okay.

Laughter that came from the steamboat ingredients were,
Zi Hui’s “gu”, Siew Ping’s “xian gu” and Wei Chiang’s “wa wa cai”
And this Siew Ping kept giving me luncheon meat!

Happy, full and satisfied! :)

January is coming to an end soon :(
Finally, I’m updating my last 20th birthday celebration!
It’s gona be a short one! I go sleep after posting this! haha

Last celebration was with Wen Ying, Cheryle and Surya.
As they said that they were going to meet me around evening,
I went to KBox with Vanessa before meeting them :)

They came to orchard far east to fetch me and then we went to Dempsey hill.
I wasn’t told where we were going, they only told me that they are bringing me to meet my buyer LOL.
We took quite sometime before deciding the restaurant.
Food was quite nice!

After dinner we shared desert and then started to play Cheryle’s polaroid.
Initial ones were all failure.
Both Wen Ying and I had no eye brown in the polariod and we looked damn funny!

Finally, successful polaroid after Wen Ying figured out which mode suit us!!!

4th Celebration

Finally FYP report is handed in! WOO!
Okay.. Time to blog again!

My 4th birthday celebration!
With secondary school friends :)

My long time meet once yet once we meet we can talk non stop friends!
Its been quite sometime since I last met them, especially Siew Ping!
Almost one year since I last met her OMG!
Kind of ridiculous but its true!

Went to Music Cafe suggested by them.

Wasn’t a very good experience because they one had one cook that day and they took a super long time to serve us the food.
Many food wasn’t available either :(

After dinner Siew Ping and Zi Hui suddenly walk super fast while Li Fang stayed behind pulling me LOL!
Li Fang then brought me to Meritus Mandarin that building and we started wandering around inside!
Its an eye opener! I’ve never walked in even though I’ve been to orchard so many times!

Look, this could be found inside!

Then after Siew Ping and Zi Hui got the cake from Coffee Club,
they bought the cake into some where inside Meritus Mandarin where people dine.

So paiseh!
They didn’t know how to light and even had to seek help from the staff there.
Nevertheless, they had managed to surprise me a little!
I thought they bought a cake at Meritus Mandarin and only realised it when i saw the mini cake box!

Luckily the staff there didn’t chase us away! Haha!
After that I told them, if they were to book a room there, I’ll be super surprised LOL!

I’m getting to bored with fyp work so I decided to blog.

2nd early celebration for my 20th!
This time round with my poly mates :D

After EIC, went to orchard 313 with Cheryle, Jing Ting, Vanessa, Melissa and Michelle.
Had lunch at KFC, and after that michelle went to airport to fetch her mum.

The remaining five of us went to kbox!
$6 promo!

Initially, I didn’t know that there was this $6 promo, i just followed them along LOL!
Had much fun and laughter in that small room.
Mel’s thai song, vanessa’s thai song plus cheryle n jingting’s k-pop dance!

As mel had to work, she went off earlier.
After kbox, we went roaming around while we wait for the rest to come.

Went to Din Tai Fung for dinner.
Waited quite long outside because it was hard to get a table for so many of us.

Celebrated my birthday and Ji Hua’s belated birthday.
HAHA! we laughed so loud that the staff came asking us to lower down our volume.

After dinner we coincidentally saw some people from buddy class.
Helped them took a group photo and they helped us too.

My 20th celebrations

Thursday after practical, went to meet supervisor and was late meeting Michelle.
My first 20th celebration.

We went to Yuki Yaki at marina square.

After knowing MIC for so many years, its our first time having steamboat/teppanyaki together!
(is this the 9th year I’ve known her? HAHA)

After we were done with the steamboat and teppanyaki, we had to inform the staff and they changed a table for us.

Happy New Year!
Spent my last day of 2010 at my aunt’s house.

Initially MIC and I were going out together for countdown.
Due to several factors, the plan was eventually cancelled.
Never mind, there are many more years to come!

So, I went to my aunt’s house in the afternoon and when I reached, some cousins were already there.
Did some pizza making, also baking of cookie and brownie.

Six different pizza creation by six different people.

Had dinner there and then got home after that.
I immediately on my laptop and streamed the live show using PPTV.
Watched for awhile and the internet went off and I couldn’t connect to the internet.
Brother wanted to play online game but also cannot connect.

So we turned off the broadband and on it again.
Lucky enough it did work!
Streamed again and I was very lucky!

Fahrenheit performance!
Right after their part ended, the channel hanged.
It hanged after they said bye and went in! Very lucky!

Very blur! but never mind.

Merry Christmas everyone!

I’m here for another delayed post of mine.
Last Wednesday I met up with li fang for a mini catch up session.
She was having her attachment, so we could only meet for dinner.

Yesterday was Christmas eve, went to my aunt’s house for a gathering.

Delayed post.

After MST, I went home to sleep for awhile.
Then met MIC after her paper was over.
First time meeting MIC after MST and also the last time because this was the last MST.
The hungry us went for lunch first.

This is simply delicious!

After that we took photos around and eventually decided to go ION so that we can sit down and chit chat.

Around 6pm, took the train back and met my brothers and cousin at lot 1.
Watched Rapunzel with them.

So that’s the end of my very short post.

current condition:
I should be down with stomach flu.
Went to see doctor yesterday.
What ever i ate was vomited out.
Could only drink glucose water, eat medicine and sleep whole day.

Today, I’m slightly better.
Was able to eat some porridge but was sleeping all the way again.
Finally slightly more awake by evening so here I am blogging.
Hope i get well soon!
If not I’ll have to sleep all day, and if this goes on, my reports are all going to be dead. :(

Fahrenheit Autograph Session

Fahrenheit autograph session was total madness!
Together with MIC on the the Friday before MST week (which is two weeks ago),
we went to queue for autograph card instead of studying for my MST.
Felt a bit guilty but i don’t want to regret not going.
So, I WENT!

I’ve went to several autograph sessions and this is my first time
studying with my notes while queuing.
Studying while queuing is something not very nice!
The surroundings is really not a conducive place to study!

Can you study in this condition?
While sitting under the scorching sun with ants crawling and surrounding,
you still need to endure the sounds of cars going past together with the loud chit chatting of people around you.

I did study, but could only absorb a little because the loud chit chatting was the major distraction to me.
Seriously, they were like shouting and not talking!

The place where I sat.
MIC reached at 11am and the cards will only be given out at 4pm.
11am and we’re already sitting by the road side!

Luckily we managed to borrow an umbrella!
If not, I can confirm that I’ll definitely be sunburnt! 100% sure!
Why am I that sure?
This is because when I joined MIC after lesson, she went to buy food and take a break.
So I had the umbrella to myself.
I shared the umbrella with her only when she came back
Shared for a short period of time and I realised that my right leg became red when I got home.
(I was sitting on the right and the was sitting on the left)
Now my left leg and right leg are of slightly different skin tone!

Friday only queued for the card!
Kinda stupid to make people queue twice and I don’t understand why.
So Sunday was the actual day.
Knowing that we’ll have to sit by the road side if we don’t go early,
we decided to go earlier.

We reached there at 6.30am!
And guess what???
We still have to sit by the road side.
OMG LA! The amount of people queuing is seriously madness!

It was said to be over 3000 people…
Previous years when they were here, they couldn’t finish signing all the albums.

This year, they finished it.
Why?
Cos they pre-signed the autograph cards and fans were only allow to go up the stage,
have a hand shake and get down the stage to collect the pre-signed autograph cards.
Therefore, it became more like a hand shake session than an autograph session.

After the session, MIC and I were damn tired!
Planned to get some sleep before studying but I ended up watching TV after i woke up.
So, serve me right if my results are very bad :(

Damn sad la! Due to insufficient sleep,
I substitute in the wrong value for apchem and
didn’t practice the aia question even though i knew it would come out!
So my 10 mark long question GONE :( SAD SI!

Two weeks ago…

After lessons on Tuesday, the cake gang consisting of jt, vanei, kpo, hq and me
went to vivo city first while the rest (birthday girls, ji hua and nelson) waited
for melissa and gavin.

Bought the cake and went to gong cha for bubble tea.
I shared with Jing Ting and Vanessa.
Pudding milk tea!
Quite nice but still, i prefer cup walker!

Went to Kim Gary to put the cake there and then met the rest that came later.
Entered Kim Gary at around 5 pm plus.
Many ordered bake rice! Quite nice but the portion is so much!

Madness!

Side track, the pepper does looks a bit like my fyp sample uh! LOL

Took some photos in Kim Gary and then decided to go to the top floor
of vivo to celebrate instead of celebrating in the restaurant.

Feel that my blogging feel is back, maybe because reports are too sian!
Last Wednesday was a public holiday.
Since there’s no one at home the editors came to my house for card making!
We had a lot of laughter because the scrap book we made for Cheryle was super funny!

Cha siew just can’t shut his mouth up!
Anw, should be used to it by now..

Early in the morning I saw my group mates at the dover mrt.
We were already asking eh! sleepy not?
All three of us slept late.
So yeah so we’re going to be his so called zombies again.

As expected, his comments and criticisms came shooting at us.
This week bao hui was so called save? Haha.
Last week was her, so this week is tow peng and my turn.

During debrief, cha siew kept looking at tow peng!
LOL-ed. We said tow peng is too cute already, cha siew likes to look at her and smile!
What’s worse is tow peng smiled backed and he still commented that we have no life =.=

Bao hui commented that cha siew looked at me as if he saw his enermy! Haha!
Nvm, I’d rather cha siew don’t smile at me!

It’s inevitable that we’re having a self protective barrier against him!
Everything also scold, who would dare to speak up?
Of course the three of us would choose to shut up and look like zombies la!

We ask, then you’d say that its the responsibility of us students,
we don’t ask, you say that we don’t have life and looked like zombies
So what you want?
To act as your so called irresponsible students? or to act as the zombies you name us as?

Seriously don’t know what he is thinking!
Or maybe he’s just simply picking on us?
Whatever it is, it doesn’t matter anymore!
I think we’re already immune to it.
The first time we get such treatment from him, we were like complaining, curse n swear!
Now, after he scold and goes away we’ll start commenting and laughing.

Home alone

It’s 20 November!
Happy Birthday to shijing and aaron yan!!
Kinda boring now so i decided to blog.
It’s the fifth day I’m home alone and tomorrow will be the last day!
(I’m home alone because my family went overseas to visit my great grandmother + holiday)

Don’t like emo dinner so I’ve been finding people to accompany me for dinner everyday.
However, eating out everyday means MONEY!
November is a broke month for me!
So yesterday I decided to save money and cook myself.

Make do with what I have at home and this is my linguine dinner.

Doesn’t really look nice, so just focus on the cheese! haha.

Today is another cooking day but not emo dinner!
MIC came to my house to cook with me :)

After dinner was a chit chatting session.
We always get reminded of the first time we cooked together in school,
the last home econ session in primary 6!
We were usually in different group but we were allowed to group ourselves on the last lesson.
Still remembered that we cooked chicken macaroni!
Some would be finding it weird but yes, we do have home econ lessons in primary school!

Anyway, meet up again soon k! :)

Last but not least, shall rant a bit on fyp before i end!
Seriously think that we’re having such a hard time all because of her!
Not that there is problem between the three of us but the three of us had problems with her.
Really hard to communicate with her!
Her thinking and our thinking is totally different.
I seriously cannot imagine what would have happened if we didn’t act proactive and suggested to do ICP test first.

She wasted so much of our time!
The first month on redundant literature review. (gold-which we did and was not applicable to report)
Then we even included gold stuffs into the draft report and now it’s taken out!
Plus we even spent time thinking of how we should carry out the gold project!
To add on, she wasted a week of ours to learn SEM and ended up we didn’t do at all.
Seriously wasted ALOT of our time la! OMG…
Ok! Enough of ranting LOL.

Wish us good luck in our very last attempt to make the concentrations be correct.
If not we’ll just have to give up and I don’t feel like it because we really spent a lot of time re-doing it! :(

Stone’s Birthday!

Okay! short post because things are starting to pile up and i don’t want my blog post to pile up too!
Last week’s Tuesday after school we went to clementi to make Vanessa her birthday card!
Accompanied Cheryle and Jing Ting to buy their fyp lamp first before heading to get the materials for the card.
Melissa, Jin Yong and Shi Hui joined us after that.

Settled down at mac and started making her the card.
Jin Yong’s idea was hilarious! (See photo below!)

Made her photos like those pasted on walls.
It says looking 4 leisure mate!!

Wrote our messages and I brought the card home!
Thursday I had a little difficulty bringing it to school because the MRT was SO SO SO squeezy!
Was so afraid that the card would be bent but luckily it didn’t!

So last Thursday after school, we had fyp and we had “presents” again!
New apparatus came because al ot of our apparatus were used up and some even broke! haha

After that we went to astons at the cathay for dinner!
In order to buy cake, we went separate ways.

So long since I last posted!
Have been kinda lazy last weekend and super busy this week!
Shall blog before I start doing datasheets and report.

Wednesday, after lesson went for fyp.
After fyp, I met Cheryle, Surya and Minghui at school library for last minute doing of scrap book.

The scrap book we made!

This time round, the concept for the scrap book was story.
Initially before we do, i suggested that we make it into a story book, but it was quite hard to link all the photos up.
In the end, we made two short stories for her and some commercials!
After finishing up with the scrap book, Cheryle, Surya and I met Wen Ying at dover MRT.

Went to raffles city and eventually decided to enter this ramen restaurant called daikokuya

Firstly…
HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TO HUI QING!

It’s another week!
Kinda lazy to do a weekly post for last week, so shall just blog on the hit awards.

Went to school on Friday, after lesson went to fyp lab to collect the dried sample we did on Thursday.
Went back after that and went out again around evening.
Took the train from red line to green line and then to circle line.
What a long journey!

Met Vanessa at stadium station and went to indoor stadium after that.

We went for the Hit Awards!

We sat quite infront only disadvantage was that the people infront of us had many boards and they kept carrying them up to wave in the air.
It was nice and I enjoyed myself.
But… I had sore throat!

Seriously hope that the gas comes soon!!!

I’m so envious of those groups who have already finished their lab work!
Hmm, but according to what I see, everyone in T12 are not done with lab work yet.

I’m feeling bored again!
So I decided to blog on the first week of school.

Monday after school while we’re on the way home,
6 of us randomly decided to buy Koi bubble tea at Clementi.
Got down and queued for our bubble tea.
Nelson’s queue number was 538.
He kept commenting that his number is 我三八 and this made me remembered his queue number.

Tuesday after school, Hui Qing wanted to drink Koi.
So we all went along with her.
6 of us went, a few different people though.

Grace didn’t buy, that’s why there is only 5 queue number.

Wednesday, had fyp.
After fyp, went to bugis.
Vanessa drank Koi and guess what’s her queue number???

It’s 538!!!

OMG! We laughed like crazy!
So coincidental! It’s the same queue number as nelson’s on Monday!

Thursday, had fyp as usual and went for ppchem tutorial at T11B.
After fyp ended, went to charles and keith warehouse sale.
Nothing much for the bags but there was ALOT of shoes!
I ended up getting my bag at city link.

Friday, it was another day of fyp.
After lesson I went for an eye check up before I went for fyp.

Had to go back for a review because my eye pressure
was detect to be above the normal range.
The results was bad, maybe it was my first time
and I kept blinking when the air came puffing in.
Have to go for a review to confirm that there’s nothing wrong with my eyes.

Fyp wasn’t successful because the ICP machine was down after the gas supply was depleted.
Wasn’t able to finish testing all our solutions.
Have to wait till the gas supply to arrive, and I hope that it will be delivered next week!
If not our progress will be delayed!

Had Wendy’s at Jurong Point and went back to city link to change the bag i bought as there was a hole inside!

Saturday, went to SP convention centre for my cousin’s performance.
Cousin Jen Lun performed Wu Shu.

Went to my aunt’s house for dinner after that.

It’s over and should I be happy?

Feeling very sian so I decided to blog!

Finally, the one month of “holiday” is over.
Initially thought that fyp can be better after this one month but it doesn’t seem like it’ll get better.
Results are all in a mess and some does not make sense at all.
I hope that we’ll be able to solve them soon!

Wednesday, went out with MIC.
Wanted to catch a movie but we couldn’t make it in time.
So we went to kbox in the end.
It’s my third time going to kbox this month!

Thursday, Michelle broke a petri dish.
Three of us got a shock when it broke!
It happened so fast that I don’t even recall if I did shouted, LOL!
It just happened that we made a loud noise.
Immediately after what happened, our supervisor came out of the meeting room with the “what happened?” look on her face.
Following after her came the centre director.

Told them that no one got hurt and they went back into the meeting room.
I didn’t realise that it was loud until Grace told us she heard shouting.
After this incident, i jokingly told my fyp mates that if we want to find our supervisor when she’s in a meeting, just break a glassware and shout. haha!

School re-opens tomorrow :(

Post children’s day celebration

Yesterday we went to Vanessa’s house for Korean BBQ and steamboat!
We met at Hougang at around 3.30 pm.
Took the red line, then changed to the circle line and then the purple line together with Grace and Hui Qing.

Vanessa helped us buy cup walker’s pudding milk tea!
It was nice!
Went to NTUC to get some food.
Vanessa’s mum asked her to get 1 kg of prawns,
Vanessa, Michelle and I chose so long!
Michelle even accidentally dropped on on the floor.
Saw an uncle opposite us, he chose so fast la!

After that we walked to Vanessa’s house.
Some helped to prepare the food.

So funny! Vanessa was holding on the the sausage while i cut them.
Her hands started to shiver and she said,be careful hor!
Don’t cut my fingers ah, accident may happen!

We started off with the Korean BBQ!

On the way home, Jing Ting and I started talking about timetable.
Realised our elective practical timing is different. :O
Shocked!

Went back to check and we are indeed in a elective different class.
So sad la! If I’m not wrong, there is only 7 of us taking advance physical chem in our class.
We are separated into two different classes for practical :(

Last semester already, still put us in different class.
Now for tutorial class we’ll have a buddy class, in the past we are alone as we were the last class.
Seems that this semester’s timetable is really different as in the past uh!
Hope we’ll get used to it soon.

Another week of FYP

It’s just another blog post on fyp.
Can’t be helped! My life is just filled with fyp this whole holiday!
Anyway, fyp is madness!
Seriously, we’re like facing problems everyday!
I am not trying to exaggerate!
Just the ICP-OES standard solution alone, we’ve been preparing it since two weeks ago!
It’s the fifth time we’ve prepared standard solution and tomorrow
is going to be the third time we’re trying to get a straight line calibration.

Look at the amount of micropipette tips I’ve used just for one preparation.

On the lighter note, i had fun trying to make mua chee. HAHA!
Went to ntuc with my brother to buy the ingredients.

Quite nice eh! Bros and i finish it all. :D

Tomorrow would most probably be a short day of fyp!
Hope everything goes well and wish me good luck in getting a straight line!

I can finally understand a scientist’s feeling of trying again and again.
The feeling isn’t good at all!
When the results fail and gets from bad to worse after whole day of hard work,
one is already feeling physically tired and yet still have to undergo mental stress,
trying to think where and why did it went wrong so that the problem can be rectified.

Conclusion: Research isn’t that fun after all!

Second week of suffering.

My second week of suffering ended quiet fast!
Sufferings were still there same though :(

So here’s a summary of my week.
Monday, was a short day.
Weighed samples and dissolve them in the solution and let them shake.
Packed chemicals into chemical store.
We were released early and I met Irene, Ying Xiu and Mei Xin for Kbox!
We went to the outlet at Clementi.
Love singing Di Yi Tian with Irene! not the original lyrics, but our own composed version!

Tuesday, lab work again ended slightly earlier than usual.
Managed to reach home at around 4 pm plus.

Wednesday, we initially booked the ICP machine.
However, gas was used up and we couldn’t carry out our testing.
Supervisor smsed and we stay at home to rush our draft report out.

Thursday was discussion of report with supervisor.
Did not do much lab work either.
After that I finally managed to meet MIC!
So long since I last met her.

We went to town and window shopped around.
Then went for dinner and after that we decided to walk around to take photos!

Thereafter, we went to 313 basement.
I initially wanted to buy yami yoghurt ice cream, but it was closed when i approached the stall.

So we ended up getting ice cream from super dog.

It was already around 10 pm plus when we finished our ice cream.
Went home after that.

Friday was a horrible children’s day!
Realised a big mistake after TSO told us something.
Concentration all messed up.
Damn demoralised yet have to keep ourselves optimistic.

Have to calculate and convert all the concentrations.
Had to determine the dilution factor and blah!
We had stock solution, sample solution and standard solution.

Due to insufficient amount of sleep,
I wasn’t really able to think well.
So we decided to do the dilution on Monday instead.

Oh ya! Supervisor changed her mind again.
We’re not doing the gold any more.
Please stop her from changing her mind so easily!

That’s the end of my weekdays!
Off to sleep now! Super tired!

Jay Park fan meet tour 2010

Went to Jay Park fan meet tour at Sentosa Wave House yesterday.
My aunt’s friend gave her two complimentary tickets, so i went with her!

We were slightly late!
Reached at 7.05 pm when the starting time was supposed to be 7.00 pm.
But when we reached there, there were many people queuing outside.
The number of people there is seriously ALOT!
We walked to the back of the queue to queue up.
Guess what?
The queue lasted from one tram stop to the other tram stop!

At around 8 pm, we were finally allowed to enter the Wave House.
The place has no seat allocation, we had to stand!

Was standing quite behind as were were the last few who entered.

So some people ended up standing inside.
I was standing outside haha!

Met Li Fang and Wei Chiang on Tuesday after fyp for kbox!
Initially, we thought that it was a Tuesday night and that there won’t be many people going to kbox.
Who knows, it was fully booked!

Called the other outlets at Clementi and Jurong Safra, both also fully booked!
We can only start at 9.30 pm which means we’ll end at 12.30 am and I’ll be like a zombie for fyp the next day.
Luckily we stood outside the kbox and discuss what to do!
We were saying it’ll be good if someone cancels their booking.
Lucky enough, the staff called us and allowed us in but we are only allowed 2.5 hours.
Better than nothing! So we entered.

Sing sang sung and I must say, it was really enjoyable to sing with the two of them!
Lets sing again next time! Hopefully next time Siew Ping can join us :)

$8 nett promo but we had half an hour less :(
Next time must book uh!

Next, updates for fyp,
I realised that we’ve been using the wrong amount of stock solution and we have to redo all 28 samples that we have done wrong :(
If not, results will be very bad!
So no choice, we have to redo.

So here we go again all the way from the start...

Starting to feel super tired of it!
It’s only the first week and I am feeling this way :(

Then, supervisor changed her mind again.
Decided to let us do some gold catalyst with stabiliser!
She said she think through and felt that we shouldn’t waste our effort on thinking for it!
Hooray! Efforts not all down the drain, some are fished out! LOL

It’s gona be another tiring day tomorrow!
Shaker can only stop at 5.15 pm and I’ll have only 45 mins to do centrifuging for all 7 samples!
Hope I’ll be able to complete before the lab closes.

I officially start my one month of fyp :(
but on the good side, it’s gona be so much better after this one month!
After we gather all the results of our 50+ samples i guess it’ll be more or less done!
Provided that there’s no mistakes in the results? haha!

So, Monday to Wednesday we’ll be undergoing some training.
After that we’ll be doing that on our own.

Guess what?
First day of fyp, started our training and we had to dress
ourselves like what is shown in the photo below!

Recall cGMP? 0_0
Had to enter the clean room so had to wear it.
Fully covered except for our eyes!
From the thing that looked like a shower cap, to mask, the suit and the so called shoe!
That shoe was so big la! It’s base looks like those hotel bath room slippers.
If i don’t walk properly i think I’ll fall! LOL

And I simply love the air lock! HAHAHA
So fun to be blown inside!
I even went for another round because i forgot to wear gloves!

Seriously, it’s quite hard to get a good picture!
Hope that we’ll be able to complete all 50+ samples within the given time!

I’d better try to sleep earlier so that I can absorb and remember what is being taught tomorrow!

It’s finally over!

Yoo hoo!
My blog has been left so dead for 2 weeks and I’m finally back.

Exams are finally over, and that declared the end of my four world wars!
Year 3 is so much harder and every paper seems like a war to me. LOL!
Anyway, it’s over and this would mean that fyp days are here.

Knowing that fyp days are nearing,
I told myself that I have to fully utilise my time before fyp starts.
This is really tiring but I couldn’t care more.
Have been going out and watching drama everyday!

Went out on after the horrible last paper on Thursday.
I simply hate studying for PCCC!!!
Studying for cosmetics seems fun but it isn’t fun at all.
BYE to all shampoo, hair stray, hair dye, cosmetics, toothpaste,
mouth rinse, creams and sun block!
Use them is good enough, no need to know them!

After the paper, we went to Just Acia at Dhoby Ghaut for lunch.
Then shopped around for Zhi Sheng’s birthday present and sort of window shopped after that.

Friday, went shopping with Cheryle and Melissa.
Around evening, Melissa went back while Cheryle and I met Wen Ying and Surya.
Went to the British Council for a talk and dinner after that.

Saturday, went shopping again but this time round for my aunt’s birthday present.
Met Li Fang at Choa Chu Kang and we trained to Bukit Batok.
Took the free shuttle bus to Jurong East due to the closure for upgrading.
Collected the album I pre-ordered and the free frisbee didn’t look like a frisbee to me.
Seemed like it’ll just fly away when wind comes!
Thereafter, we went to Bugis.
Shopped only for awhile and we were so tired!
I think both of us watched too much drama on the previous night, slept so late! LOL
I was indulging myself with episodes of my girlfriend is a nine tailed fox until it was almost morning!

Sunday, went to Holland Village with Wen Ying, Cheryle and Surya for dinner.
Initially wanted to post the photo of the food but well,
it smells nice but doesn’t look appealing, so decided not to post haha!

I’d better sleep soon so that I won’t feel too tired while doing fyp!
During the exam period, i was so looking forward to my fyp days.
Now, i don’t look forward to it anymore!
Supervisor sms-ed me and ask us to reach before 9am! :’(
I guess we’ll be undergoing some training on how to operate EDX and SEM.
I wonder if we still need to learn how to operate ICP :(

Days of powder is back again...
I seriously hope that there’ll be no more sudden ‘pop up’ rules!

Happy Birthday Wen Zi!

First of all!
Happy Birthday to Lam Jing Ting, my wen zi jie mei!

The day before we celebrated her birthday, we went out to buy her present!
Went to town together with Cheryle, Vanessa, Melissa and Jin Yong.

I left at around 6.30 pm and met MIC for dinner.
Was too full as I had a very late lunch so I just bought corn soup from mos burger :)

Collected the photos i developed for Jing Ting’s birthday card and we went to the popular at jurong east.
Bought the correction tape that has the free swensen ice cream coupon!
Went to west mall to get our free ice cream!
Forget to buy card board at jurong east popular so i went to west mall’s
BUT!!! It was closed! :(
No choice.. went to get our ice cream, find a place to sit at west mall and chit chat.
I had sticky chewy chocolate!

OK back to JT’s birthday..
We went to Nihon Mura at the cathay for buffet.
All were late except Vanessa and I.
So we went to the restaurant to get the seats first.

After the buffet, we went wondering around.
Went to the toilet first.

Yay! Win jy liao! Got photo of wen zi going to toilet! LOL..

Then we went to gramophone first.
While walking around and browsing the cds...

JT noticed a Gucci wallet among the cds!
Got nearly $100 in it and also had some malaysia money in it.
But we couldn’t find the owner of the wallet.
Took it to the customer service counter.

While JT was filling up the form, Catherine saw a notice that said if you spend more than $150 in that mall, you are entitled free moon cake!
Our buffet added up to nearly $200, so we could collect the moon cake!

After that started wondering around outside the cathay and finally decided to walk to the bean curd stall nearby.

Mine! I prefer bean curd with soya milk instead of the sweet syrup!

Gathered around and started making a lot of noise!
Talked, laughed, played and took photos!
Vanessa was directing Zhi Sheng all the way from Dhoby Ghaut MRT station to this bean curd stall!

So fast! This is the third year I’m celebrating her birthday with her!

After the bean curd, we went wondering around again.

After that, we started wandering around again.
Walked till wen zi and i started complaining to each other.
Felt sweaty and tired!
Had difficulties finding a place to sit and have a drink.

Walked from outside plaza sing to inside, round and around the mall.
From fast food to food court, there wasn’t any seats available for all 11 of us.

Then we walked to TCC, outside plaza sing but there wasn’t enough seats for us either.
Walked to dhoby exchange thinking that there would be seats.
When we reached there, no seats for us :(

MIC was having gathering with her friends and lecturer there and she spotted the group of us walking past.
She called my hand phone after we walked past and i walked back to find her for awhile LOL!

First time I had difficulties finding seats for so long!
End up, we went to park mall’s Hans and finally managed to find seats.
Bought drinks and started talking till around 10pm, the shop has to closed.

Out to toilet and then home :)

A tiring day! Overall quite fun and enjoyable except for the finding of seats part!
But in another way, it makes this celebration memorable uh! Haha...

Cousin’s 21st birthday

Went to my cousin’s 21st birthday celebration at Aloha Loyang Chalet yesterday.
By the time we reached there, Rui Ting was already there busy trying to help fix the television!

As Yi Ming’s nebo card has printing errors, Rui Ting had to accompany him to e-hub so that she can ask her friend to help change the card.
Okay, the kaypoh me went to tag along and asked her questions on her korea trip.
Sounds so fun when I read from her blog!

There was so many people there, many cars and of course many who knows how to drive.
But none of them wanted to drive to e-hub :(
So we had to walk there!
Wore the wrong shoe uh!
Got two blister on both of my last toe D:

The conversation was kinda funny!
Rui Ting goes asking, why you wear this shoe?
Me answering, “aiya, first time i wear pain. Second time i wear not pain, so i thought not pain le!”
She went asking again, then why you still wear this shoe come!
I answered her saying “I didn’t know I had to walk so much!”
She continued to ask and I gave her similar answers LOL!

Yi Ming was even funnier!
Took the paper from the arcade, finished reading then he ask, “This paper can take right?”
He even laugh to himself while reading the paper!

Back home while chatting on msn, I had a new discovery hahaha!
Realised that me and my other two female cousins have an age gap of roughly around 1 year and 4 month!
We’ve been cousins for years and I only realise it now LOL!
Come to realise it when I told Rui Ting 1 year 4 months later, i’ll be 21 years old.
(which means, cousin vanessa is about 1 year and 4 months older than me)
Then after my 21st birthday, another 1 year and 4 months later i’ll be Rui Ting’s 21st birthday!

FYP subject at optometry centre

Overdue post!
Tuesday, I went back to school to be MIC’s fyp subject :D
Met Cheryle, Jing Ting and Catherine at Dover MRT and walked to Optometry Centre at W1.

Reached there and waited for MIC to arrive so that she could start off with the first check.
The next two stations after MIC’s were her fyp mates.
Checked our eye deviation and Vanessa’s is the best among us, hers deviates the least.

My hair looks cui!
But no choice la, MIC had to fast fast snap and keep her hand phone!

Earned $60 in just 4 hours plus!
HAPPY :D

Impromptu gathering with secondary school friends

Yesterday, i had an impromptu gathering with my friends!
Initially they planned to go east coast park, but I have an online quiz at 8 pm.
I was afraid that I will not be able to be back home in time.
So I told them that I couldn’t make it..

In the afternoon, Li Fang sms-ed me and told me that they’re not going to ecp anymore,
changed the plan and decided to go Wei Chiang’s house.
She ask me to meet them at Choa Chu Kang,
and I was thinking that it should be ok because Wei Chiang’s house still quite near,
and I’ll be able to get home in time even if i have to leave early myself.

So I prepared and went to to meet them :)
Took one stop from Yew Tee to CCK..
Li Fang told me where they were sitting down at the area behind the LRT so I went to find them.
Hehe! Sorry to make you all wait for me!

After that we walked to Wei Chiang’s house.
Yan Ting, Jason, Wei Jian and Keng Siang played monopoly deal while Li Fang, Wei Chiang, Fabian and I played mahjong.

I lost $4.10! :(
If I’m not wrong, this should be my third time playing?
Not very experienced in playing mahjong actually.
Although I lost, but i learnt something new about mahjong that day.

Had to leave there by 7 pm so that I have sufficient time to get home.
Took photos and ended up leaving there at 7 plus i think.

YOG Opening Ceremony Rehearsal

Photos are finally back after two posts without photos!
Yesterday went to the Youth Olympic Games opening ceremony rehearsal with MIC.
MIC had two tickets, so the lucky me got to go with her!

On the actual day, our seats actually worth $120 each!

It was stated that we’re advised to bring our own food there.
So we bought Mos Burger there as our dinner.

Before the start of the event, it was raining heavily.
When we reached there, it was still drizzling :(

Put on the poncho given to us before sitting down.
So uncomfortable wearing that!
It gave me the feeling that my movements were restricted.
MIC even commented that it looked as if we were wearing garbage bags!

Removed the poncho after that as it wasn’t raining any more.
The show was quite nice.

Haha! Maybe because of my CCA in secondary school..
Made me paid more attention to the lightings.
The lightings were spectacular!

Lightings even came shining from the buildings nearby.

The event ended at around 10pm plus.
MIC and I took the circle line MRT from esplanade and took the red line at bishan.
A slightly longer way to avoid the squeezy train at city hall.
Reached home at around 11.45pm, bathed and uploaded the photos while waiting for my hair to dry.

I am now also waiting for my hair to dry!
Got to go school tomorrow for photo taking session with my fyp supervisor.
Is this a photo taking month? It’s my second photo taking session this month!

It’s almost holiday!

Yay! Hectic week 16 is over!
It’s been a long time since i last blogged!

Last Sunday I watched drama until very late!
So, I overslept on Monday as my alarm was set as pm and not am!
As we had presentation, grace sms-ed me and said meet earlier.
Suppose to meet her at 9.15 am BUT! I woke up at 9.15 am!!!!
Got a shock and i immediately chiong-ed to prepare.
Wash up, change and ran to the MRT.
Reached Yew Tee MRT at 9.30 am!

Managed to reach school in time but did not get to present our slides!
Our class was suppose to start at 10 am but our class only got to start at 10.20 am.
The last two groups couldn’t present and we had to present after school :(
As for the 20 MCQ PCCC test, just anyhow ticum cos some answers I don’t remember.

Then Tuesday had job interview test which is 35% of the module and ICP test.
My time slot wad 9.20 am and I reached school at 9.00 am.
Was so shocked to see Hui Qing inside the room as she was just before me.
Supposedly 9.00 am is Vanessa’s time slot.
Chiong-ed to change into my formal wear and went to the room.
Thru the glass door, I could see that there’s no one inside!
So hurriedly knocked the door and went in without any 心理准备.

Wednesday we finished up our pccc assignment!
The very last assignment for this sem.

Thursday after school went to finish up my fyp last sample testing.
Suppose to study for ICP re-mst but i ended up playing isketch!
It was nice playing isketch with them!
Jing Ting and Jin Yong kept winning. :(

Friday after the icp re-mst, went to meet Cheryle and Wen Ying at somerset.
Watched SALT and had dinner at orchard ion.
Walked around at ion for awhile before heading home.
Played isketch again!
This time round with more people playing..

It’s Saturday now..
Time to sleep so that I can wake up in time for tomorrow’s photo taking session.
Relatives from Hong Kong are coming specially for family photo!
Everyone must be present..
I’d better go sleep now!

Overloaded!

It’s been a week since i updated my blog.

Nothing much to blog about for last week except for Wednesday and the disastrous Friday.
Last Wednesday after AOC lecture, I went to Cheryle, Jing Ting and Vanessa fyp lab again.
Waited for them to finish their fyp.
Met Wen Ying after that together with Cheryle and Vanessa.
We went cineleisure and watched Despicable Me.

Then Friday, got to know that we’re changing our fyp topic.
What is this! It’s like as if we have no say and she has already decided to change.
Furthermore, she told us only when we ask on how we should do our lit review report!
OMG. What an irresponsible supervisor.
Don’t understand why in the first place they set this topic and decided to change it only after we have already did literature review summaries for many papers on the previous topic.
What a time to change topic uh!
So now, it’s like as if everything has been thrown down the drain and we have to redo!

Then, there was this intense atmosphere while discussing on our schedule.
I don’t like her working style :(
But no choice! Ok! Shall say no more about her.
I’ll just have to face the truth that lit review is a must to re-do.
就把挫折当着是学习成长的过程吧。

Upcoming days of the week and next week is going to be crazy!
Tests, presentation, assignment, report and job interview test!
Can’t wait for week 16 to end!

fyp – presents

Last Thursday, had fyp in the morning.
After that we chiong-ed to the lecture hall as we were late for her previous lesson due to fyp.
We promised her not to be late.
Who knows, we happen to be the first 10 people to enter the lecture hall and was chosen for the industrial visit. OMG.

Thursday had our last LM practical.
After the practical, the TSO asked us to go upstairs to re-fill ultra pure water.
So I went up together with Cheryle.

Ultra pure water was located in the clean room and we had to wear the suit.
We kept laughing and was kinda reluctant to go in!

Halfway through, the TSO upstairs told us that she can help us re-fill and bring it down tomorrow morning.
So happily, we took off the suit and went down.
I FORGOT TO TAKE MY HANDPHONE!
Left it in the cupboard where the suits were kept.

On the way walking to MRT,
I got the feeling that my hand phone is not with me.
Checked and panicked.
Went back to the lab to search and I was lucky enough to find my phone!

On Friday, after AOC practical..
We chiong-ed to fyp lab to start our three hour reaction.
When we went into the lab, we saw these!

Look! The list of apparatus which I submitted to my supervisor has arrived!
(She didn’t order the exact number of things i requested, but nvm! better than nothing!)

The good thing is, centrifuge tube we requested for 28 and she bought 200!
The three of us were so happy, it was as if we had receive Christmas presents. LOL!

Today, during LM..
I learnt that some of the chemicals that I am exposed to for fyp is dangerous!
Next time cannot breathe in the HCl fume!
(But how? we need it to wash the beakers at the basin and when I drop a few drops,
fumes start coming out! No in fact, once I open the bottle, fumes will start coming out!)

Then try not to breathe in ammonia and most importantly..
Arsenite which is carcinogenic!
Last Thursday I accidentally spilled some aresnite solution on my pants!

Shall go buy mask! Haha!
Ok, time to sleep!

voyage de la vie

Last Sunday I went out with MIC to Resort World Sentosa..
Initially when my aunt offered me the tickets, I was just going there for fun.

MIC accompanied me as I had two tickets.

Met MIC at vivo city and we took the monorail to Sentosa.
Found the place but we were 15 minutes late :(
We had to wait outside until the ushers allowed us in at the appropriate time.
Many people were late too.

Realised that our seats were quite in front and it was in the middle.
It was at a very good position!
The show was great and it was a pity to have missed the first 15 minutes.

After the show we took quite a number of pictures.

After that we had our dinner at Asian Kitchen.
Look at our crazy dinner!!!

Chit chatting session with MIC was nice!
Shall meet again soon!
